Knee-slapping comedy is coming to Henley!

– April 3, 2019 –

Over the last few years, Rewind has played host to some brilliant acts, but this year we are stepping things up a notch!

We’re so excited to announce that this year, Temple Island Meadows will play host to five of the biggest and funniest names in comedy, performing across the weekend on the Forever stage.

So settle in and get ready for some laughs as we introduce the hilarious bunch of comics that will be performing across the weekend and share some of our favourite clips!

Joel Dommett

“I was lead singer, I can’t sing but you don’t put this face on drums guys!”

Tom Allen

“This was a time, bearing in mind, when it was completely fine to transport 15 children in one stranger’s car. Three of you sellotaped to the front, 10 of you in the back, all in shell suits, if you went over a bump you’d all rub together and catch on fire and then 2 of you would have to travel in the boot. It would always be your short friends.

Just remember, if you see the police GET DOWWWWN!”

Dave Johns

“I’ve got a new partner, she’s pretty cool and we get on quite well. There’s just one problem, she’s mad about cats. I can’t f*****g stand cats.

I wake up of the middle of the night and she’s standing up in bed in her nighty.

Midnight, not a sound from the pavement, has the moon lost its memory…”

Angela Barnes

“Look I’ve put a dress on and everything. I can’t do smart, you could dress me head to toe in Chanel and it would still look like I’ve run through Matalan naked, covered in glue.”

The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue

“A mad, anarchic triumph of stupidity over style. Not to be missed” – The Guardian

These five stellar comedians will be appearing on the Forever Stage at Rewind South on the 17th & 18th August 2019 at Temple Island Meadows. Don’t miss out – get your tickets here.
